Nepal packs an extraordinary range into a small country. In a single trip you can walk from subtropical valleys to glaciers, pass through Sherpa and Tibetan influenced villages, and stand under peaks that have drawn climbers for a century.
The trekking season runs in two windows. Autumn, from late September to November, brings the most stable weather and the clearest mountain views. Spring, from March to May, is warmer, greener and the main climbing season on the big peaks.
You do not need to be a mountaineer to be here. A fit walker can reach Everest Base Camp. From there the step up to a first 6,000 m or 7,000 m summit is a matter of preparation, and we will tell you honestly where you stand.
