Sky Diving in Nepal

Sky diving in Nepal, Everest region offers exhilarating adventure amidst the world’s highest peaks. With unparalleled views of Mount Everest and the surrounding mountains, it’s an experience of a lifetime. Tandem jumps and solo dives are available. The Sky diving in Nepal is a truly ng adrenaline-pumping excitement against a backdrop of stunning natural beauty.

In Nepal, there are few skydiving instructors, so we request you to have your own instructor for your team. Also, we recommend that you manage equipment including parachute, harness, helmet, oxygen, and GoPro cameras yourself. We organize skydiving in Syangboche, located in the Everest region. Syangboche sits at an altitude of 12,400 ft above sea level, from where helicopters take flight and ascend to 21,000 ft. Each helicopter flight can accommodate two persons, including the instructor and client.

The expedition begins at Lukla, accessible by a scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu. Most skydiving teams choose to undertake the Everest Base Camp trek. Syangboche is the nearest hill to Namche Bazaar, approximately a 1.5-hour walk. The Everest skydiving expedition, including the EBC trek, takes 12-14 days. However, if you opt not to trek to EBC, the Everest skydiving experience can be completed in 7 days.

For organizing skydiving in the Everest region, we manage the skidding permit, which is one of the most important parts. In Nepal, the skydiving permit is granted by the Tourism Ministry and Civil Aviation Association (CAAN). The process takes a minimum of 45 days for official paperwork to obtain the permit. Additionally, at least three government liaison officers are employed for oversight. The permit includes garbage deposit, liaison officer, national park fee, and royalty, among other costs. If the group size is a minimum of four with your instructor, the cost will be divided among each member, making it more affordable. The larger the group size, the cheaper the cost. The maximum number in a group is 15 persons.

Best Season for Sky diving in Nepal

In addition, the best best season is during the months of Spiring (March, April and May). However we can organize it in other seasons too.
