Mount Everest Climbing Expedition

50 Days

Mount Everest climbing is a dream for every adventure enthusiast. As the world’s highest peak 8,848 meters (29,029 feet), Mt. Everest has been a bucket list item for pioneer mountaineers from across the world. After the successful summiting of Everest in 1953 by the legendary mountaineers Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, the peak has welcomed hundreds of climbers each year. The spring season (starting from April and ending in May) is the best time for climbing Everest. During this season, the region is filled with trekkers and climbers.

Our Everest climbing expeditions begin in Kathmandu, with a briefing about the trip. The detailed briefing includes accommodation, route information, safety measures, rescue protocols, communication procedures, Base Camp meals, high camp services, acclimatization periods, and summit push strategies. Every climbing member should be aware of these details. Our professional Sherpa guides and instructors check the climbing gear and equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of the members. In emergency cases, we suggest renting additional gear in Thamel, Kathmandu. During such adventurous expeditions, even small details can play a vital role in ensuring success. Therefore, climbing gear and equipment should be well-prepared and properly managed.

Before undertaking the Everest climb, we offer the opportunity to climb Mount Lobuche for better acclimatization. This helps climbers adjust more easily and comfortably during the Khumbu Icefall. The trek begins in Lukla and after 9 days, reaches Everest Base Camp (EBC). After spending a couple of days at EBC, the climbing team moves to Lobuche to ascend it. It normally takes less than a week for the team to undergo build-up training at Lobuche. They then return to EBC to continue the Everest climbing expedition. The build-up training at Lobuche reduces the effort required for navigating the Khumbu Icefall and makes it easier to establish high camps.
